RENO, Nev. -- Early voting has begun in Nevada and at some polling locations, voters are already waiting in line to cast their ballots.
Saturday morning in Sun Valley the early voting location had a line of voters out the door.
Secretary of State Ross Miller tells KOLO 8 News Now that Nevada has a record number of people registered to vote this year. According to his website, over "1.2 million Nevadans are registered as active voters for the November 6 general election." The voter registration deadline was October 16th.
The large number of registered voters may foreshadow a record voter turnout by election day November 6th.
