According to ABC News, Actress Ashley Judd is on the verge of announcing her bid to become the next U.S. Senator from Kentucky. If she runs she will face off against Republican Leader Mitch McConnell in the 2014 election.
Republicans are already attacking the actress with attack ads and during the National Republican Senatorial Committee they cheekily announced Judd as the Republican Party’s own top Senate recruit, sending reporters a fake fundraising email.
Judd was raised in Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky, but she currently lives in Tennessee.
