CHINA -- Many people crave a cold soda, roasted chicken and potato chips from time to time. Now you can have all those flavors wrapped up in one snack.
Lays unveiled a new potato chip in China that's flavored like Pepsi-Chicken. This is a spin-off of a "Cola Chicken" craze just spiking in popularity in China, and has even spilled over into restaurants here in America.
There are reviews of the Pepsi-Chicken Chips all over the Internet. Some say, the flavors are just too different for one chip, while others like Dan Kamys, author of "chew on that Blog" says it taste like barbecue with a sugary aftertaste.
Every year Lays produces a new flavor that is tested on the Chinese market. Past flavors have been lemon tea, cucumber, and hot-and-sour fish soup.
