DETROIT (AP) - A teaser for an MGM Grand Detroit casino ad
campaign that features a pair of golden eyes peering at motorists
from a billboard is causing a stir among some who see the image as
The Detroit billboard depicts the eyes on a black background,
accompanied by a golden silhouette of MGM's signature lion.
City Councilwoman Alberta Tinsley-Talabi tells The Detroit News
for a Saturday story she wants it taken down.
The Rev. James A. Smith, pastor of Maranatha Gospel Church in
the Detroit suburb of Romulus, says it "looks like a demon glaring
