Fla. police: Woman crashes, continues to hair cut

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) - An elderly woman in Palm Beach County
drove her car into a man on a scooter and continued on to her hair
appointment, police said.
Louise Davidson, 77, was arrested Thursday for leaving the scene
of a crash involving injuries, Boynton Beach police said.
Police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said the woman was turning
right when she veered into the path of the oncoming scooter that
had the right of way. The man was thrown onto the windshield and
then fell to the road, she said.
Police said they later spotted the woman's car after she had her
hair appointment.
Authorities said the man suffered scrapes all over his body. The
injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
