Name of Suspect Released in Stabbing at Bus Station

A woman was rushed to a hospital Tuesday morning after being stabbed near the RTC terminal on E. 4th St.

RENO, NV - A woman was rushed to a hospital Tuesday morning after being stabbed near the RTC terminal on E. 4th St.

Police responded at 9:17am and were able to quickly get a description of the attacker. Within two minutes, they arrested 55-year-old Robert Morris of Reno two blocks away. He's charged with battery with a deadly weapon.

Police say the woman's injuries are serious but not life-threatening. They don't know if the man and woman know each other.

Police have not yet released information about what led to the stabbing.

A section of the bus terminal at the corner of E. 4th St. and Evans St. was closed for about an hour while police investigated. It has since re-opened. Traffic was not interrupted by the incident.
