SPARKS, NV - A Sparks woman is charged with stabbing her boyfriend several times Friday morning.
About 5:30, police were called to Sacred Circle in Wingfield Springs by a man who said his girlfriend had stabbed him.
When they got there, they determined the two of them had argued, and as he walked away, she grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the back. He then ran and barricaded himself inside a bedroom to protect himself.
Police say Deshanna Graham admitted stabbing the victim, and police have the knife as evidence.
The victim was treated at Renown Regional Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening stab wounds. Graham was arrested and booked at the Washoe County Detention Facility for Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Domestic Battery. Her bail is $23,000.00.
