GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (AP) - A fire near Indian Creek Reservoir in California's Alpine County is fully contained at 81 acres.

Officials with the Sierra Front dispatch center say the fire
broke out around 1:15 p.m. Monday and was burning in ponderosa
pine, brush and grass.

The area is near Douglas County in Nevada.

There are no homes in the immediate area and no structures were
threatened.

Indian Creek Campground was evacuated, but is back open now.

The cause hasn't been determined, but firefighters say they won't be surprised if it turns out someone from that campground started it, maybe accidentally.
