Suspect ID'd in Wells Fargo Robbery

RENO, NV - Reno police have released the name of the man suspected of robbing a Reno Wells Fargo branch Wednesday evening.

Police say it happened around 5:30PM at the branch at 5100 Neil Road.

The man pulled a handgun and left with cash, according to Reno police.

The suspect escaped the scene; however, through the use of eyewitness descriptions, police were able catch the suspect in the Atlantis parking lot. They say he had cash and an airsoft pistol in his vehicle.

39-year-old Jose Vasquez-Mendoza is being charged with robbery.

Police tell us no one was harmed.
