RENO, NV - Washoe County officials want residents to know they may be receiving survey calls regarding their county government, and hope that they don't hang up.
An independent market research firm has the task of surveying local residents about issues that are most important to them and asks for participants to rate their satisfaction with county services.
“The information we get from this survey is used by the Washoe County Commission to develop policies that guide county services, including budget priorities,” Kathy Carter said, Washoe County community relations director.
Carter explained. “It’s one of the many tools we use to ask the public what they want from their regional government.”
Carter says the calls are random and around 600 calls will have to be successfully completed for statistic valid sampling.
