RENO, NV - Wade Kelly, wanted since Thursday following a dispute with his brother in Galena and subsequent manhunt, was discovered hiding in a pile of pine needles at Lake Tahoe Friday.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the manhunt ended around 12:30 p.m. when residents spotted him in the Round Hill area of Lake Tahoe attempting to cover himself with pine needles in order to thwart authorities.

The RAVEN helicopter was alerted to the suspect's hiding place and hovered overhead while SWAT and K-9 units moved in.

Kelly was taken without incident and was not armed at the time of his arrest.

He is wanted on suspicion of committing battery with a deadly weapon, and was booked into Washoe County jail.
