Winnemucca Man Killed in Plane Crash in Wyoming

GREEN RIVER, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities say a Nevada man died in a
plane crash in southwestern Wyoming last week.

The wreckage of Cranfill "Buster" High's twin-engine Cessna 320D was found on Friday, a day after he failed to show up at the Riverton airport as originally scheduled. High lived in Winnemucca, Nev. and operated a business serving airplanes at the city's airport.

Sweetwater County Sheriff Rich Haskell and the county coroner said that High was the only person on board. It crashed about 22 miles southwest of Green River and the debris was strewn over about 1,000 yards.

Haskell said High took off from Sidney, Neb. on Thursday bound for Riverton, where he had family. A relative told authorities that he changed his mind while flying and headed toward home instead.
