SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have arrested three men accused of stealing more than 350 iPhones from the company that employed them.
The company is Ozburn-Hessey Logistics. Detectives believe 27-year-old Jose Becerra of Reno, 22-year-old Jose Inurriaga of Sparks, and 28-year-old Daniel Ruiz of Sparks stole the phones from the company and sold to someone in California for cash. Detectives recovered more than $20,000 in cash and have seized a vehicle purchased with the proceeds of the thefts.
All three suspects were booked into the Washoe County Jail for embezzlement. The investigation continues in this case and more arrests are expected. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sparks Police Department at (775) 353-2225 or (775) 353-2231.
