Burglars Sought in Summit Mall Break-ins

RENO, NV - Two burglaries that occurred at the Summit Mall have detectives from Reno police searching for two people.

The initial incident occurred at Game Stop about 5:30 pm on July 20, 2014 when the two were caught on security video stealing numerous games and a pair of game controllers.

The second burglary occurred on July 21, 2014 at 2:15 pm at the Apple Store.

During the incident, the male from the Game Stop burglary was observed on security surveillance inside the business stealing numerous cell phones before exiting the store.

Surveillance video showed the suspect leaving the area in an older red Volvo with partial California plates of E4W.

The male is black, between 5’8” and 5’10” tall and between 165 and 180 pounds, and in both incidents was caught on security cameras wearing blue tennis shoes.

The female is between 5’6” and 5’8” tall, between 200 and 250 pounds with long dark braided hair. She was wearing tiger striped tights and was carrying a large purse.

The female was also seen in the Game Stop surveillance video wearing a “cheese head” hat over her long braided hair.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating these two. Citizens are asked to contact the Reno Police Department at (775) 657-4767 or Secret Witness at 322-4900 or by text at 847-411.
