ELKO, NV - The Supreme Court of Nevada will hear the appeal of a woman sentenced to life for allowing a teen boy to grope her breast.
We first told you about Michelle Taylor last year.
She was initially arrested for a gross misdemeanor after the 13-year-old boy touched her.
The Elko County District Attorney's Office bumped up the charges to felony lewdness with a child under 14, which carries a mandatory life sentence.
A jury convicted her, not knowing about the mandatory sentence.
That sentence, her attorneys argue, is cruel and unusual punishment.
The Supreme Court hasn't yet set a date for oral arguments.
