SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have arrested a woman they believe was involved in a case of child abuse.
Police say in January, they met with the mother of a six-month-old infant reporting possible child abuse. Police say they determined the infant had been in the care of a daycare provider and suffered injuries consistent with child abuse.
The case was referred to detectives who continued the investigation. Tuesday, February 25, 2014, 28-year-old daycare provider Jennifer Beach was arrested for Child Abuse.
Police aren't saying what the injuries were or where they think the injuries took place, or whether they believe there are other victims.
