RENO, NV - A missing hiker was found safe Wednesday morning in the area of Hunter Creek.
Washoe County search and rescue units were called into action early Wednesday morning after the hiker failed to return.
He had set out hiking Sunday for two days near Hunter Creek, in the Toiyabe National Forest, southwest of Reno.
The Washoe County Sheriff's Office used its RAVEN helicopter to find the hiker around 8:30 Wednesday morning.
