RENO, Nev. (AP) - A woman suspected in a string of Reno-area bank robberies has been arrested.

FBI Special Agent Erron Terry says 29-year-old Erica Leigh Morrison was arrested Friday night at an apartment in south Reno. She is being held at the Washoe County Jail and is expected to make an initial appearance in federal court Monday.

Terry says agents worked with local law enforcement officers in Reno, Sparks and Washoe County. They served several search warrants and obtained an arrest warrant Friday.

Morrison is accused of holding up six Wells Fargo banks since June 10. The FBI says she's also suspected of plotting three other heists that were not carried out.

Notes were used in all the robberies and the FBI says she got away with a few thousand dollars each time.
