Santa Train Returns to Railroad Museum

CARSON CITY, NV - The Santa Train returns to the Nevada State Railroad Museum this weekend.

Food and beverages will be available between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. as part of the annual fund raising activities of Warren Engine Company No. 1, a non-profit community organization. Warren Engine Company No. 1 has provided hot refreshments for the Santa Train for about 25 years.

Santa Train operations will be conducted by the Nevada State Railroad Museum between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $3.00 per seat for rides with Santa Clause on historic Virginia & Truckee Railroad equipment pulled by steam locomotive No. 25. No reservations are required. The Nevada State Railroad Museum and the museum's railroad themed store will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with admission of $6 for adults, and free admissions for children 17 and under and for museum members.

Santa Train activities will Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15 in Carson City.
