PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) - The Nye County sheriff says a 43-year-old
Pahrump man faces multiple felony charges after a trio of overnight
gun incidents including allegations he pistol-whipped a patron at a gas station, threatened his wife at home and fired a bullet into a wall at his house.
The Nye County Sheriff's Office says John David Radell claimed
traumatic stress from Army service in Iraq and Afghanistan led him to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana before the alleged crime spree and his arrest a little after 1:30 a.m. Thursday at his home.
No serious injuries were reported.
Radell was jailed on almost $47,000 bail after he was accused of
aiming a handgun at a person in one location a little before midnight and at another person at a gas station just after midnight.
