Reno Wal-Mart Shooter Surrenders Without Incident

Reno Police have confirmed that the alleged shooter of three, John Gillane, is now in custody following a standoff that began early Friday morning.

According to police Gillane surrendered without incident following a six hour standoff after 3 people were shot.

He was still a worker at the shopping center when the shootings happened. Discussions were to take place this morning about his possible termination.

The store was evacuated soon after authorities surrounded the establishment following shots fired.

The Wal-Mart parking lot remains closed-off to all traffic at this time.

The victims were all taken to Renown Medical Center. We’re told their injuries are non-life-threatening.

According to police, Gillane is charged with three counts of attempted murder.
