Reno Police Search for Suspect Involved in Armed Robbery at Scolari's, Reward Offered

RENO, NV - Officials with the Reno Police Department are searching for the suspect who robbed the Scolari's Market on Saturday, December 28, 2013.

An official with Secret Witness says a man went into the Scolari's Market located at 3310 S. McCarran Blvd around 12:50 a.m. The official says the suspect approached the slot machine attendant and robbed them at gunpoint.

The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money when the attendant opened the cash drawer to make change, according to the official.

The suspect then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'6'' tall with a thin build. He was wearing a knit beanie cap, a dark coat, and baggy pants, according to the official.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of this suspect.
