RENO – A Reno photographer is the grand prize winner in the Nevada Magazine "Great Nevada Picture Hunt” contest.
Nevada Magazine reports Kristoffer Glenn Pfalmer, who is a guardsman navigator for the Nevada Air National Guard in Reno, shot the winning photo titled “Ranges Blue”.
The picture shows a mountain view across Nevada with the ranges in a blue haze. Pfalmer says he shot the photo during a commercial flight to Las Vegas.
Pfalmer also won the events category with a black and white photo titled “Thunderbirds”.
