The Regional Transportation Commission transit service is preparing for the winter storm by operating snow detours to keep riders out of the cold.
RTC has developed snow detours for seven that are consistently impacted by snow and ice including routes: 3,4,5,6,7,15 and 17. They say these routes have steep hills and sharp turns.
Passengers on the listed routes can know in advance where the bus will be detoured by reading signs posted at bus stops. If your usual stop has a an orange sign with white snowflake icon, that stop is not served during snowy weather.
