RENO, NV - UPS employees are giving back to the community by sharing the love with students at Libby Booth Elementary School.
UPS created an outreach program, Project Sharing the Love, to give employees the opportunity to give back to the community.
Libby Booth Elementary School, a school with many kids in transition, was the first on the list.
The donation drive began as an effort to collect underwear, personal care items, and socks, but ended up with donations of clothes, books and school supplies, according to an event organizer.
Employee volunteers handed students bags full of donated items.
The event organizer says she hopes that this will make others want to give back to the community.
