Police Arrest Suspect in Donut Shop Robbery

Reno police have arrested a man they believe robbed a clerk at a donut shop Friday morning.

RENO, NV - Reno police have arrested a man they believe robbed a clerk at a donut shop Friday morning.

Around 9:45AM, a man walked into Best Donuts in Town at 2080 Mill Street and used a silver handgun to demand money. No shots were fired. When he got cash, he ran off southbound, possibly to a car, according to police.

Shortly after noon, police found a car in downtown Reno matching a description given by a witness, pulled it over and arrested 44-year-old Thomas Brand, who's now charged with armed robbery. One more person was arrested on unrelated charges
