ELKO, Nev. (AP) - Rescuers are looking for a 37-year-old Elko man who fell from a boat while fishing with two small children in South Fork Reservoir and never returned to shore.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports Michael Schublom (SHOE'-blohm) was fishing in the northeastern Nevada reservoir Thursday when he reached over the side of the boat and fell into the water at about 4 p.m.

Officials say he was not wearing a life jacket and wasn't able to get back into the boat before it drifted away. He was last seen swimming toward the shore.

Campers rescued the two children in the drifting boat but were unable to find Schublom in the lake or on the shore.

Search teams were looking for the man Friday.
