Police Search for Suspects Involved in Armed Robbery Series

RENO, NV - The Reno Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the people involved in a series of armed robberies.

According to an official with the Reno Police Department, two people entered the Sinclair Gas Convenience Store at 13900 Stead Blvd on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.

Police say the thieves took some items and left the store without paying. One showed the grip of a firearm as he left, according to police.

The second incident happened on Thursday, January 23, 2014.

The official says two people believed to be the same two from the previous armed robbery entered the same Sinclair Gas Convenience Store with a third person.

One displayed a knife and another displayed a rifle, according to police.

The clerk was held at gunpoint as the grouped robbed the store.

The two in the dark clothing were the people seen during both robberies, while the one in the red was present in the second robbery only.
