PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) - Nye County sheriff's detectives say they've identified DNA found in the vehicle of a Pahrump woman who's been missing for more than six years.
Authorities say they linked 81-year-old Keith Holmes of Pearblossom, Calif., to DNA on pantyhose found in Maureen Fields' vehicle.
Nye County Detective David Boruchowitz says authorities have already spoken to Holmes, who is a registered sex offender who began traveling to Pahrump around 2006. But deputies say they want to talk with people who know him.
Fields was last seen by Wells Fargo Bank co-workers on Valentine's Day 2006. Her husband, Paul Fields, says he last saw the 41-year-old leaving for work after an argument on Feb. 15, 2006.
Her vehicle was found the next day in Inyo County, Calif., a short distance from Pahrump.
