UPDATE: NV Energy Restoring Power Knocked Out by Crash in Lemmon Valley

UPDATE, 1:15pm:
RENO, Nev. -- NV Energy tells KOLO 8 News Now the outage in Lemmon Valley was caused by a car accident. Apparently, a car crashed into a guy wire supporting a power pole. The accident did some damage to the pole and took down the power cable.

Crews are working to fix the line now. An NV Energy representative tells us crews estimate it will take about three hours to fix.

RENO, Nev. -- NV Energy customers in Lemmon Valley are dealing with a power outage.

Customers say the lines went dead at about 11:30 Saturday morning. NV Energy tells KOLO 8 News Now crews are headed to the area and hope to determine the cause of the outage within an hour.
