RENO, NV - The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving two vehicles in the northbound lanes of Interstate 580 near the Mount Rose Highway, just north of the Galena Bridge.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken by ambulance to a hospital with what troopers call moderate injuries.
Troopers say the driver of a Blazer SUV was speeding shortly after 8:30 Thursday morning and driving erratically, and hit a Scion sedan during a lane change. The Blazer rolled several times.
Troopers say they suspect the driver of the Blazer was impaired before the crash, but no specifics have been released.
