GABBS, Nev. (AP) - A moderate earthquake shook a largely unpopulated part of west central Nevada overnight about 125 miles southeast of Reno.
The Nevada Seismological Laboratory says the magnitude 3.9 quake was reported at 4:04 a.m. Thursday with a depth of nearly 4 miles. The epicenter was about 18 miles northwest of Gabbs. It was followed by small aftershocks of 1.4 and 1.6
No damage has been reported.
Wendy Traub, a waitress at the R&H Cafe, told the Reno Gazette-Journal (http://tinyurl.com/mpq45bn) that she asked around but hasn't found anyone who felt it.
