SPARKS, NV - The death of a pet leads to a stabbing at a local trailer park.
Around 10:30 Monday night, Sparks police responded to reports of a stabbing at Jo Pa's Trailer Park off Prater Way. The suspect, Carrie Lee, was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend over the death of a pet. No additional details as to what instigated the fight have been released.
The victim, Stephen Caldarulo, called police from a pay phone in the park soon after the stabbing.
Caldarulo was transported to the hospital and was treated for a non- life threatening stab wound to the abdomen.
Lee was arrested at the trailer without incident.
