Two Sparks markets are robbed within 20 minutes of each other and police believe it may be the same assailant.
Sparks police said that Sunday afternoon, a man described as medium complected in his mid-20s, walked into Paul's Market on Vance and demanded money and goods. He may not have stopped there.
According to police, he was last seen fleeing southwest through the market parking lot and into a nearby residential area. Police say he may have left in a car parked nearby.
But while he was fleeing from one robbery he may have headed for another.
Sparks police responded to a robbery at Gold Midget Market in Victorian Square 20 minutes later, where a similar robbery took place.
After reviewing surveillance footage it was determined by police that the suspect is the same person that committed the earlier robbery.
Witnesses describe the suspect as having shoulder length dreadlocks pulled into a ponytail, unknown if real or a wig, 5'7" to 5'9" and 165lbs to 180lbs.
He was last seen wearing a brown and yellow horizontal striped beanie cap, dark zip-up hooded sweatshirt, colored gray on the inside, white shirt and dark pants.
The suspect also appeared to be wearing a 'Live Strong' bracelet on his right wrist and a stud earring in his left ear.
Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for any information leading to an arrest of the suspect at 322-4900.
