SPARKS, NV -- It's a rare opportunity for a young girl to dance on national TV in the happiest place on earth. Luckily, for 15 local girls, they get the experience of a lifetime and now the whole nation can see just what they can do. The girls gave us a preview of their dance that will air Christmas morning.

For months, these 15 girls put in hours of rehearsing and dancing for a chance of a lifetime, and it all paid off.

"I started screaming and started jumping up and down everywhere," Abby Swall, 10, a dancer, said.

Most of these girls have been dancing their whole lives, but never had an opportunity like this.

"I got to be in front of the TV, in front of all those people. I just felt so accomplished with my dancing like i actually took it and did something with it," Dianna King,17, one of the dancers, said.

They were among the 600 girls to be selected to be filmed in Disneyland and be a part of the famous annual parade.

"To be chosen by Disneyland to dance there is a great honor because they're always looking for the most quality in the dancers and those who can perform the best," Jenny Renner, owner and director of Jenny's Studio of Dance, said.

Not only did they get to meet Disney superstars like Demi Lovato and Ross Lynch; they got to dance right by their side.

"It was a lot more than I expected," Brooklyn Palmer, 13, another dancer, said. "We were down there; it was a lot of work, but it was fun."

The dancers spent three days in the amusement park, practicing and filming for the big show.

"This trip was a lot of work and they were very tired but kept pushing through the hard times, so it was a great experience for them," Renner said.

"People are looking at you and you know you're smiling and giving it your all and it's the best feeling you can feel in the whole wide world and I just love it!" King said.

You can watch the entire dance on Christmas morning from 9-11 on KOLO 8 News Now. They will also be performing at the Sparks Hometowne Christmas Day Parade on December 7th.
