RENO, NV - Champagne Family Dentistry is providing underprivileged children with free dental services during its 'Give Kids a Smile' event.
An official with Champagne Family Dentistry says the 'Give Kids a Smile' event is in support of February being National Children's Dental Health Month.
Underprivileged children in the Reno/Sparks community can receive free dental services on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 735 Sparks Blvd in Sparks.
Officials say children must meet these qualifications in order to receive dental care: Children to age 18 who live in Northern Nevada, children with Medicaid or Nevada Check-Up benefits, and children with no dental insurance and whose family meets program income guidelines.
To see if your child meets the qualifications, call the Northern Nevada Dental Health Program at 775-870-4305.
Officials say if qualifications are met, a dental appointment will be scheduled for February 8, 2014.
