CARSON CITY, NV – Nevada’s First Family will host their new neighbors at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City this Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00pm for an Easter Event.
The backyard of the Governor’s Mansion will be open to the public for an opportunity to visit with the Easter Bunny and meet the First Family. Cookies and punch will be available and children will have the opportunity to take a picture with the Easter bunny. Guests will need to bring their own cameras.
“My family and I are looking forward to the opportunity to meet our new neighbors and see the Easter Bunny,” First Lady Kathleen Sandoval said. “Please come by the Mansion after you’ve finished your Easter Brunch and your Easter egg hunts,” Governor Sandoval said.

DETAILS: The public should enter from Robinson Street on the South side of the Mansion. Upon entering the yard, guests will be assigned to a group by number and then called to meet the Easter Bunny in groups of 20. To take a picture with the Easter Bunny, guests MUST BRING THEIR OWN CAMERA. Cookies and punch will be available.
