ELKO, Nev. (AP) - An Elko man is behind bars after neighbors called police to report suspicious activity.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports 51-year-old Garry Foster was arrested Tuesday on various drug charges.
Police Capt. Will Lehmann tells the newspaper officers found suspected methamphetamine, prescription pills, glass pipes and drug packaging materials.
Foster was convicted of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance in 2011 and placed on probation for three years. A condition of his release allows officers to search his property.
Officers searched his residence after neighbors complained of an alleged break-in attempt and reported frequent and unusual visitors to Foster's home.
Foster was jailed on 11,280 bail.
