Nobody has life-threatening injuries after a crash in south Reno Thursday afternoon, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

RENO, NV - Nobody has life-threatening injuries after a crash in south Reno Thursday afternoon, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Trooper Mike Edgell tells KOLO 8 News Now: shortly after 1PM, 74-year-old Eugene Hopkins of Sparks was headed south in a Buick SUV on South Virginia Street near Foothill Road when he crossed the center line and hit a pickup and horse trailer headed north. The trailer swung and hit a Mercedes. Hopkins and two people in the pickup were taken to Renown for observation for claimed injuries.

There were no horses in the trailer.

Hopkins was cited for driving to the left of the center line.
