A Douglas County man will spend the next 10 years in prison for slamming an 11-month-old's head into her crib.
Stephen Tribon, 27, will not only face prison time for beating his step-daughter but has been ordered to stay away from the girl and his now ex-wife for the rest of his life.
Tribon admitted to police that he beat his step-daughter in February, fracturing her skull because he was 'under a lot stress.' He says he grabbed her around the waist and threw her into her crib when she wouldn't stop crying.
Tribon told police he noticed a soft spot on the baby's head and took her to the hospital.
Deputies say the baby had serious injuries to her head as well as multiple scrapes and bruises to her body.
