DAYTON, NV - Officials with the Lyon County Sheriff's Office are searching for the man involved in an attempted armed robbery in Dayton.
Officials with the Lyon County Sheriff's Office say deputies were dispatched to the Mound House General Store around 6:20 p.m. for an attempted armed robbery on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
The man walked into the store and demanded money. According to officials, the man claimed he had a gun, however he never showed it.
Officials say the suspect did not take any money.
The suspect is described a 5-foot-8-inch male weighing 170 to 180 pounds. Officials say he was wearing a black wig covered in green spray paint, a light green t-shirt, a camouflage long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, brown work boots, and was carrying a blue Walmart bag.
Deputies say the suspect remains at large.
