ELKO, Nev. (AP) - Police in northeast Nevada say a construction
worker is being treated in Salt Lake City for serious injuries after he stepped through a skylight and fell 30 feet to the floor at a commercial building construction site.

Elko police Capt. Will Lehmann tells the Elko Daily Free Press the worker was taken to Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko and then to a Utah hospital after the 10:30 a.m. Wednesday accident.

The man's name and an update of his medical condition weren't
immediately made public.

Police ruled out foul play, and the supervising architect on the job says an Occupational Safety and Health Administration official visited the site after the accident.

The site is being developed for future Ross Dress for Less and Jo-Ann Fabrics stores.
