SPARKS, NV - John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort has announced its musical line-up for the nightly concert series during the 26th Annual Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off.
More than 40 bands will play on multiple stages during the six-day event on Victorian Square.
The most popular acts will perform on the Main Stage during the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, which runs from Wednesday, Aug. 27, through Monday, Sept. 1, 2014.
The following acts will take the main stage and the concerts are free to the public:
7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27
Lit is an American alternative rock band from Fullerton, California. They released several singles in the late 1990's and early 2000's including hits "My Own Worst Enemy," "Miserable," "Zip-Lock" and "Over My Head."
7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28
Boston-based singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson is an up-and-coming musician who's famous for his songs "Rock & Roll" and "OK, It's Alright With Me."
7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 29
Multi-platinum selling recording artist and seven-time GRAMMY nominee Joan Osborne will be performing her hits, including "What If God Was One Of Us," "St. Teresa" and "Shake Your Hips."
7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30
Country favorite Joe Diffie will return to the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off to perform his best hits, including "John Deere Green," "Pickup Man" and "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)." Jefferson Starship

American rock band Jefferson Starship will delight fans with their original mix of psychedelic and electric folk music, including hits, "Somebody to Love," "White Rabbit," "Miracles," "Jane" and "Find Your Way Back."
Robert Randolph & The Family Band
3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1
Robert Randolph and the Family Band is an American funk and soul band led by pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph. Rolling Stone included Robert on their list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time, and the band also plays before every Friday-night New York Knicks basketball game.
