CARSON CITY, NV - A Carson City man faces multiple felony charges after police were called to a motel Saturday night.
39-year-old Ryan Schroeder allegedly swung multiple hammers at a motel clerk on the 2800 block of South Carson St. Officers arrived and were told by the clerk that a man was yelling and swinging hammers at him.
Schroeder was not at the motel when officers arrived and a search began immediately. He was found and detained by officers in the area of Carson and 9th streets.
Schroeder was taken to jail and took a preliminary breath test where it registered a .22, according to the report.
Schroeder faces felony charges of burglary and probation violation, as well as assault with a deadly weapon.
He's being held without bail on the probation violation charge.
