Bomb Squad Clears Downtown Reno After Suspicious Package Investigation

RENO, NV - A Reno bomb squad says a suspicious package in downtown Reno was just an empty suitcase, possibly left by a homeless person.

Police tell us a section of Virginia Street near the arch was closed off as they checked out the suspicious package left in front of the Knitting Factory.

Police have cleared the scene, declaring the suitcase harmless.
