DOUGLAS COUNTY, NV - The body discovered near the Carson River Saturday has been identified as Charles Michael Mose.
The 43-year-old Native American was reported missing to the Washoe Tribal Police Department May 5th.
Mose had been visiting friends at a residence on the Stewart Indian Colony in south Carson City when he disappeared. He had gone for a walk along a horseback riding path near the Carson River, at the south end of Bigelow Drive, in Carson City.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but detectives say there were no signs of foul play.
It is unknown how long the body had been there.
