It was a terrifying ordeal for a Reno woman over the weekend.
She was attacked by a man with a knife who she says, was hiding under a quilt in her bedroom.
He supposedly jumped out at her after she noticed that the blanket was out of place-- on the floor of her bedroom closet, in her home on Wheeler Avenue.
Police say the woman fought with her attacker for about five minutes as he tried to choke her.
She was finally able to convince him to leave and he ran out the back door.
When police got to the scene, a neighbor pointed out a man who had been seen running from the area.
During their interview, they noticed Teodoro Macareno-Partida had fresh cuts on his neck and hands.
Police say, a short time later, he confessed to the crime.
He is under arrest on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.
