Armed Robbery of 7-Eleven on Wells

RENO, NV - Two people are still on the loose after an early morning armed robbery left police asking witnesses to come forward.

It happened around 2:39 a.m. Monday, when police say two people armed with a handgun entered the 7-Eleven on S. Wells Avenue, pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money before fleeing.

According to police, one robber is described as a black man in his mid-20s, 5'10" and 200 pounds, wearing a brown jacket with fur trim around the hood, black gloves, blue jeans and a white mask. He was the man armed with the handgun.

The other robber is described as a black male in his mid-20s, 5'10", 180-190 lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green bandana over his face and white gloves.

The RPD is asking anyone with any information in regards to this case to call the Detective Division at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
