A local boy is looking for two parents who will love him, and bring him some adventure.
Seven year old Nickoulas is a smart boy with an adventurous side. We met at Reno's Jump Man Jump, which fit well with his personality.
Sarah: "What do you like to do for fun?"
Nickoulas: "I like to ride my bike and jump in jump houses."
An avid bike rider, Nickoulas wants his forever parents to enjoy the outdoors as well. And maybe even show him the sky is the limit.
Nickoulas: "I like heights... I like way up in the air..."
Sarah: "Do you like planes then?"
Nickoulas: "I would like to be in one and jump off with a parachute. I never got to do that."
Back down on solid ground Nickoulas is a great student who enjoys reading chapter books like Wolf Boy, and as he puts it: he just likes learning.
Sarah: "What do you like to learn?"
Nickoulas: "I like to learn like what's six plus six. That's what I like to learn about."
Sarah: "And what is six plus six?"
Nickoulas: "I don't know, that's why I want to learn it."
Sarah: "OK. It's 12."
Nickoulas: "You weren't actually supposed to tell me."
Hanging around Nickoulas it was easy to tell that he has a deep respect for his current foster mom, and gets along well with his foster siblings. He also has an endearing care and concern for others. A care and concern, he hopes, he'll find in a forever mom and dad.
Nickoulas: "I would like them to treat me nice, but if I do something bad then they can discipline me."
