LOVELOCK, Nevada (KOLOTV.com) -- Cold weather didn't stop two couples from saying "I do" on Valentine's Day.
Seven couples gathered in Lovelock's courthouse park at 11:00 a.m., and in 39-degree weather, along with friends, family, and members of the community for two weddings, and what would end up being six vow-renewal ceremonies.
The renewing of vows was first, performed by a local chaplain. Shortly after 11:00, he asked five couples to stand in front of him, facing one another and holding hands. The couples repeated commitments, and finished with a kiss.
The weddings took place next. Two couples stood before a judge as she conducted the ceremonies near Lover's Lock Plaza in the park. (See photos below.)
Not long after those I do's, another couple arrived for a vow renewal, making six total for the morning.
A reception followed at The Depot, a historical building in Lovelock that now is home to a restaurant.
